Awesome B&W work Pete! I think my favorite is Quiet Time. The figure adds so much to the photo. Quite stark and huge impact!

They should all be winners. Smile
Agree about quiet time though I was impressed by each and every one. The water tank hits home because I could do a few photos in that vein around here.

Thanks for the comments, Rich and Peter.

I'm currently writing an article on Quiet Time for our newsletter. There has been much discussion about photographers who use AI being banned from national/international salons recently. My normal editing processes made the lady's face look a mess, although you had to pixel-peep to see it (our judges seem to always pixel-peep!). So, remembering that the free Krea AI does a reasonable job on portraits, I cut her out, and let Krea have a go. It made a good job, so I masked that out and used it in my image.

I should be banned for life!

For the Camera Club's 2024 Finale, we were required to prepare a project consisting of a Title Page, and a group of up to 10 images, in a series. The subject choice was left up to the individual photographers.

Here is my submission. (Except, I was forced to drop one of the images because it exceeded the 10 limit!!)

That's awesome work, Pete.
If the standard of the work the whole club does is that good, it would be a great club to be in.

Another year, a new Committee, and the camera club continues. Appended are my four images.

For January 2025, the set-subject was "The Beach".

In the first shot with all that ripply sand, look like it could be what is know as Warrigal Greens or native spinach. Tertagona tetragonoidies. Of course the KIWI's call it New Zealand spinach because it also occurs there but that's like they tried to say Manuka honey is specifc to NZ. It isn't. There is way more Manuka in Australia than in NZ. Wink

Where did you get that rock shot? It is awesome indeed, There are some great rock shots if one travels Australia extensively.

I guess you've done a bit of artistic expression in the Syd-Harb fireworks. Wink

Again some of that is attached to the shack. Smile
