I like the painting Rich. Good job on the sky and the reflection in the water. Your grandson should like it.

Yes, your right Patty. It usually looks better after a couple of days.

Well, I lived with it a couple of days and still thought the branches were a problem. To my eye they were a stopper. All I saw was the branches and the reference photo did not have that many. These trees were dead and the branches made it look alive. I wanted the mountains to be seen first. Soooooooooooo I corrected it and embellished a few spots. It was not easy but I have done a few corrections in the past. I learned from the past that a magic eraser will remove most colors with minimal damage to the paper. Fortunately the colors were brown and white so I was able to remove it quite well.
It's going to my Grandson today.

Rich, you did an excellent job with the correction! You must be very happy with the results and now I see what you meant by making the tree look too alive.
I can't even tell there was a correction!
Good going!

Thanks Don and Patty!
My daughter was here for the weekend and took it back Sunday for him. Got a text from him saying he really liked it so that is good. I told him I could make a print for his buddy if he wants one. I am pretty happy about the correction too!

I mentioned to Dave that I would post a watercolor of a pigeon that I did. This is a different one called a Crowned Pigeon which is obvious. I named him Preston.
