Great looking breakfast, Dave. I like the spicy touch.
Some great weather and our planned 4th dinner party a bit early but time well spent tending the fire and watching the ribs turn into their mahogany color.
Happy 4th to you all.
Grant, that pizza looks great, I LOVE pizza!!
Your breakfasts are always interesting, Dave!!
Steve, that BBQ looks to die for!!
So, today I picked string beans again, and blanched them, going to do Food Saver vacuum packs for the freezer!! They are very heavy producers!! We are very dry here, so been doing a LOT of watering!! And of course, here is my zucchini bread. So many zucchinis, so little time!! I will be baking and freezing the breads as well. Pineapple walnut. But not strong flavor of pineapple. Oh, well. Still good.
Natalie, your garden products are always good. My string beans, both bush and pole, are up but still too young for blossoms. Hopefully, I'll get a harvest and do just as you are doing. Blanch and vacuum pack then freeze.
Besides several other heirlooms, I am growing one called "Pineapple" which is a very large yellow and orange colored tomato. A lady in our tomato group page gave me one to try and I saved the seeds. Delicious and sweet. All my plants have many blossoms and are setting many fruits. Some blossoms are dropping as they need to do. I'm planning on making lots of sauce and drying those I don't eat or give away.
That zucchini bread goes perfect with morning coffee.
Grant, It's a Klose. Made in Houston, Tx. This is the Backyard Chef. Besides the main chamber, the upright makes it very versatile. Also it's where I hang my sausage to smoke.
Steve, that is some Smoker! Serious piece of equipment, there!
Thank you all for the compliments on my photo....I really didn't go to any trouble to shoot it, on my stovetop....right after I cooked it.....
Thanks, Natalie.
Here's my pickling cucumbers coming along nicely in their containers. Spacemaster variety is my early crop before the ones in the raised bed produce later.
