Post your other non-phtographic art here.
Just a Digital Art Piece

Michael,
I made a comment a few weeks ago but I don't see it.
I see an abstract image and like most abstracts the artist wants the viewer to decide what they are seeing. I see a wine theme, a bent wine glass with grapes in the background. Maybe a gold serving dish for the crackers and cheese sitting on a glass top table.
Whatever it is, an interesting image!

I probably posted this some time ago in the old WC but thought I would post again. Fooling around with water colors one day.

Nice outdoor "studio" Dave. I've never tried painting outdoors.

Michael, what did you use to create your digital image? It is pretty cool.

Just PhotoShop. No image to start with, completely a digital art piece.

Don. fantastic hinge. Those rusting nails add depth and a story to this. also.

Don, great image. You did great on presenting the wood grain, nice rust!

Here is a watercolor from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
I was attracted to the deep lamp shadow and the door.

Well done, Rich.

You said you were attracted by the lamp's shadow and the door, and both are very well-rendered.

The door conveys a tactile sense of rough weathered wood.

And the shadow is beautifully varied in value and color - not the flat shape that beginners might produce. I'll add that the cooler tones of the shadow work great vs the warm tones of the earthen wall.

The inclusion of the branches  & leaves at top right keeps the eye in the frame.

Admirable dry brush work. And good restraint with the spattering - it's just the right amount and strength.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

My Christmas card for this year. I added the verse in Photoshop.
