Thanks, all. Of course we had to bake one to test it out. We eat it with horseradish, the red kind that is mixed with beets. It's sweeter that way. We had 65 pounds of fresh pork butt and belly fat.....cut up and run through the grinder, then mixed with spices and refrigerate over night, remix and then stuff. He also made 25 pounds of breakfast sausage that had pork and venison mixed together. I had some for breakfast next day. Was very good!

Yes, my brother's wife passed away going on 5 years now.....they both loved to collect farm and household memorabelia....There's a vintage egg scale and egg candler in the mix somewhere.
