DW must have well over a dozen different jars of honey in the cabinet. We usually have to buy tupelo honey when we go down to the Fla panhandle to camp. She will buy local honey when we travel if she sees it. Never heard of sea grape honey, but will try to remember to look for it next week when we are in Florida.

We have some maple syrup we keep in the fridge and will sometimes use it on the infrequent mornings when we make pan cakes or waffles. But yeah, it is pretty sweet.

Hmm, just did a Google on sea grape honey and we might not be far enough south to find it.

My staple is all Australian mallee honey. The bees collect it in my backyard and allow me to share it.

I was getting seagrape honey when DD was living in the the Lake Okeechobee area.

I was a bee keeper. I've basically handed all of that to a neighbouring farmer who is younger than myself. Still have hives here but I let him do the work. Free honey.

My brother has two hives in his backyard. He enjoys the hobby but it seems to be a lot of work.
