Natalie, That pizza looks soooo good. To keep the center dough from getting soggy we precook the crust for 6-8 minutes before we dress the pie. Try it. Hope that helps. Especially with the Cauliflower crust.

A staple in our house.
Each Bowl of soup is different although they look similar.

Well, my borscht looked like this. It made 8 quarts, I share with my two brothers and my son...my daughter won't eat it....although if she tried it, I think she would like it....she tasted it when she was a young kid and hasn't eaten it since.

And I made some bread to eat along with the borscht.....my mom's recipe for sweet Ukrainian bread

Grant, your soups all look so good, and healthy! Great shot! Now I want some of that!!

Great looking food Nat & Grant. I know your borscht is good, Natalie !

Thanks, Steve.....I am proud I could get my borscht to taste almost like my mom's!! Had my brothers over for lunch, we had borscht, my mother's recipe bread and Kissel....don't know if your are familiar with that.....another of my mom's recipes.....simmer 6 cups water with 2 quarts strawberries, a quart of blueberries and 5 apples diced....Add sugar to your taste, then thicken with potato starch....I love this on a cold winter day!! I freeze the berries in summer to use in winter for this recipe.

I had a nice salad for my dinner yesterday....I love a good salad....nothing fancy....but good!

Top quality photo, Grant.

Natalie, I've never tried borscht - for no logical reason it has never interested me. But I admire your photos of it (including the one of the ingredients). And that bread looks perfect. Beautiful salad too.

Natalie, I'm not with the Ukrainian version of kissel but at a Scandinavian festival held each year near Astoria, Oregon, they have a delicious similar thing called fruit soup which sounds much like the kissel you describe. I always get some there.

Peter,
Is that your collection of Shrooms? Nice job on layout!
How did supper turn out?

That is how they grow in the box, as they come as a grow kit.
Here they are on a plate.
Haven't taken any photos of prepared meals but these oyster mushies will go with virtually anything that could benefit from adding mushrooms to. I'm working on various recipes. From gnocchi to rice dishes.
The daughter with one of her picks. She gave me a couple of kits as a late Christmas pressie.
