Love the bird on your card and also the cardinal!! That flash of red is fun to see!! I have had a lot of birds out my window, among them cardinals! I should set up my camera like I did a few years ago and take some shots of the birds.....I started a watercolor of a cardinal a LONG time ago, but I have no patience....and walk away from a lot of starts......my daughter says I have depression, and maybe she is right, maybe that's why I cannot get motivated.....I wish I could go for a long walk, but my back and knees say no....I get sciatic pain quickly, therapy did not help....
Today I saw black capped chickadees, titmouse, robins, sparrows, cardinals, flickers, a redbellied woodpecker and a bluebird. All within 15 feet of my window. When I put seeds out, the starlings and cowbirds pig out on it, bird feeder empty in 20 minutes, then the other birds scavenge on the ground.....
