OMG, Don, that is really special.  I think it is the sort of thing that I might frame. That is a feel good story, an amazing one. 

Dave, I like your homemade valentines card. Thanks for starting our daily with this cute and comical capture.  Did you combine two  layers to create this cute scene, or did you actually capture this moment in real life?

Lorell, I like the decorations of that Florida (I assume) house.

My photo is of California Ground Squirrels, taken probably 15 years ago. It's is a real-life photo, not a composite. I used to see them in several of the city parks and at the wetlands. But their burrowing undermined paved walking paths so the city eradicated them from these areas many years ago.
