Morning Lorell,
FYI
Lensbaby also makes a Petzval lens named Twist 60.
Lorell, your image had not loaded when I posted. Your image creates a dark moody atmosphere. Perfect for a wine advert.

Good morning all,
Lovely light painting, Lorell. the colors blend so well. Like a nice Meritage.
Dave, I was about to mention the bright rose center until I read Patty's post. Right on!
Those tire store fires are the worst.
Hi, Grant.
It's a cool 46 degrees here with light winds and rain. The weekend looks like drier with 60 degree days. I just got in from the greenhouse. I transplanted some young tomato seedlings into pint pots. On my way to deliver some plants to other growers. Come on, sun!

Thanks damar & Quint. I agree with you that the bright center of the dark flower is the best part of the photo. BTW, the light flower facing sideways is a rose but the dark one isn't, and I don't know what it is.
damar, that's a very fine photo at the tire store fire. Can you show us some of the rest?
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

I can gather your confusion, Dave.
I believe the flower picture is of a rose. I'm struggling with the correct wording but there are single and double etc., rose flower descriptions. This one appears to be a partway between single and double and cannot fully make up it's mind until it gets closer to full maturity as a flower. It is a lovely coloour.
Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit.
Lorell, I love painting-with-light images. They have such a special quality you don't get any other way. Nice selection. Good job!
Love your roses, Dave, especially the one facing the camera. Roses are grafted a lot of times.....but sometimes suckers come from below the graft, and those will bloom from the hardy stock they used for the roots of a grafted rose bush....your dark roses look like those from the rootstock. Definitely roses, as Peter suggested also.
Hi! Peter!!
Hi! Grant!
Patty, what a great shot of a terrible situation! Such detail! I'd like to see more from this shoot. No wonder the paper used your images!!
Upper 60's here for a couple days but in the 80's on Sunday....We go from running the heat at night to running the AC during the day! ( My daughter's German Shepherd is a long haired one....really long hair, like 4 inches...she gets very hot when the temps go over 70°) Rain coming on Tuesday.
Went and borrowed a trailer and rounded up a couple tall ladders.....going tomorrow to take down a small greenhouse my daughter got....it's a former carport frame....rounded up a couple of people to help as my daughter and I cannot do it all....wish us luck.....already brought home the 3 raised bed frames, 16' x 4' x 16" tall .
