Good day, all.

Sounds like a severe winter storm is threatening the NE US. (Meanwhile, my thermometer just outside the front door and in the shade topped out yesterday at 80 F (27 C)).

So it was a sunny and warm day, and Pippin took advantage of it by soaking up the sun...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dave, neat portrait of Pippin! I like the head tilt and the lighting!

Here is the results of the Quote " Adding fuel to the fire"

Door County Wisconsin, Lake Michigan. The last step of a fish boil, to produce a rapid boil that removes the fish oil from the top of the water.

OMG, that is scary, Rich. When was that from?  Was the fish good?
It is a pretty exciting capture.

Hey all, still packing over here after returning from a 12 hour trip to Michigan's west coast!
We took photos of four lighthouses and it was a great day but I returned frozen to the bone.
I am still packing and really don't have much time to process photos.  You will see them in about FOUR days.  Sorry about that.

Dave, I Love little  Pippin.  It is a sweet portrait.  I think I may be able to give you sweet doggie some company with a photo I took of my daughter's cat, Ruby.  I am sure the two of them would get along nicely. I am sorry that I have been absent for the last few days and it will be a few more before I can sit down and relax.  We got a three-day drive ahead of us.

I have been absent for a day or so.

Dave, You have a furry little friend. Soon you will need to look for Pippin's eyes. We just had our to to the groomer, but we leave their hair long for the winter.
Rich, Reminds me of using too much fire starter.
Lorell, Drive careful. Don't catch Omicron. Something in that name. I had a full compliment Omicron EL enlarging lenses on one of my Omega pro enlargers. Brings back memories.

Looks scary, Rich.

Lorell, that's a fine photo of Ruby. I was thinking about you enduring the winds off the lake yesterday; glad it was worth it for you. Safe travels.

You're right that Pippin is pretty scruffy, Grant. But we prefer it that way - I've never liked the immaculately groomed look. (And I have always refused to embarrass our dogs by dressing them up in cutesy attire.)

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Excellent portrait of Ruby, Lorell!
The photo was from 2002, and yes, the fish was good!
