Greetings Friends! A hot weekend in SD. Looking at 105 F, temp now is 101 F.

Working on a watercolor of my Grandsons cat. A difficult one because it is hard to paint a white cat on white paper. Maybe I should have used black paper!

These photos are from a trip to California in 2006. Had to go back in my way-back machine for them. I am not sure of the location but it might be Big Sur and Highway 1. Dave would know. The seals are napping after a big meal I suppose!

You have visited more places in California than I have - I haven't been to Big Sur or Highway 1. The furthest north I've been is Ventura to the west and Big Bear Lake more to the east.

But I think you probably right.

Good luck with the painting; it does sound challenging.

I've never been to California other than via movies and songs.

I've been in Canberra and this is the sparkle of a -8˚C frost.
