Good morning Dave and thanks for starting the daily with such nice photos. I often have issues with a lot of red, seems to be easily blown out. These are done very well though.
A couple more from our camping trip. One photo is all that is left of an old steel bridge, and the next is a photo of a nearby cemetery which was very interesting to explore.
The local chapter of the nature photo club meets tonight and we are supposed to bring a few photos to show. I just randomly picked about 5 from past trips (Like all of us, I have many to choose from). Mine range in subject matter from a Eurasian Oystercatcher to an Icelandic church in a foggy field.
I see where Lorell hasn't logged in for a couple of weeks. Hope all is well there as she is one of our most active members. Sadly, I think the other 5 or 6 members have apparently called it quits.

I've done some research on that and can't find a solution. As soon as I can find a commercially available forum I will try to transfer everything over, and whatever the cost is we call all share the expense. That way we will have a dedicated support team to address issues such as not being notified rather than depend on me trying to find time to do it. Better all around.

Thanks Don. Yes, sometimes reds can be challenging. I also have difficulties with light vivid greens: they often look unnaturally vivid; the description of electric green comes to me.
Two more top quality B&Ws. In the first, I think the thin branches at the top do a great job of emphasizing the depth of the rest of the scene. The second also has good depth and excellent values.
Thank you Rich. I was pleased at how both of these images turned out.
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

The notifications isn't an issue for me. I check the site reularly enough to see that a new post has been made.
Dave's poppies are stunningly arranged. The reds are good. Prickly pear is noxious in Australia. Though there are plenty of them around.
Don's B&W shots are well balanced. I don't seem to find myself in cemeteries often enough. Maybe I'll start trying harder.
The bridge though, I'm not too sure about driving over that bridge.
