Very quiet lately; everyone must be enjoying a holiday break.

Here's a selection of photos I've taken in previous weeks.

5 Snowy Egrets, from my last trip to the wetlands in mid-November...

An Osprey scanning the waters of the wetlands, taken on the same outing...

A neighbor's African Daisies...

From another neighbor's yard; I liked the colors...

And another sunrise shot taken during an early walk...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Good morning Dave

Nice variety and sequence of shots to start the day.

We drove up to Atlanta on the 26th to visit DD and family and got back yesterday. Nasty weather here last night but not as bad right now. Still rainy though and will be turning colder as the week progresses.

A couple of shots from the European river trip - I'll have to keep milking those photos until I get out and get some new ones. These 2 were taken in Wurzburg, Germany. A little restaurant right on a historic bridge, apparently has been there a long time. We got some grilled brats with mustard and some kind of sauerkraut dish, along with brown bread and potatoes. Very good lunch.

Thanks Don.

I like your photos.

That looks like a very hearty and satisfying meal.

And what a great looking restaurant building!

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dave, nice! A neat perch they found. Interesting wetlands! Beautiful daisies, the last one well exposed! Good sunset colors!

Don, agree with dave, a hearty meal and neat architecture.

No snow on the ground here which is very unusual. It can hold off until March!

Agree with all the above. No snow here either but that is usual here, even in winter.

I spent a few days in the nation's capital with our daughter and her daughters. During which I did early morning walks around Lake Ginninderra. https://www.parks.act.gov.au/find-a-park...trict-park
Ngunnawal Country and People
Lake Ginninderra District Park is located on Ngunnawal Country, an ancient and diverse landscape managed by Ngunnawal people for tens of thousands of years.
For time immemorial Ngunnawal people have maintained a tangible and intangible cultural, social, environmental, spiritual, and economic connection to these lands and waters.

I'm still sorting through 500 photos.
Here's another attempt at camera movement during the present opening.

and here is my daughter in her place of work, the National Botanic Gardens.
She has the job that I'd dearly love to have had. Naturally, she gives me cause to feel proud of being her father.
