A bit warmer here today by about 20 degrees F, which of course means rain is likely today.

Here are probably the last of the snapshots from the trip. A couple of "nature" photos, which I am more comfortable with, and a couple where I was again playing with selective color.

I have many more but they are mostly street shots and old buildings.

Don,
I am curious about what type of vehicle would travel through that tunnel.
The leaves photo is really interesting with the variety of colors in those leaves, pinks, yellow, teal, lilac. Wow, what an unusual assortment of colors.
I also wonder why the lady was dressed like that

I just finished digging this from my trip to the Michigan Central Train Station. There was a room filled with nostalgic posters.  And this was one of them.  An adjacent sign covered over the right side of this poster so I had to crop in on both the right and left to create balance.
Based on the current fan support of the LIONS here in our state/city, I thought this would make an appropriate submission for my photo club's Christmas party.

And guess who is playing in THE THURSDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL GAME tonight?  The LIONS! I might have to take a nap this afternoon so that I can stay up late to hopefully see the Lions solidify their position in the playoffs. They will sinch their spot if they win outright.

Dave, in response to your recent comments about the Lions.  Unfortunately, I am not as confident in their future as you.  So many of the Lion players are hurt now, some of their VERY BEST defensive players especially.  The injuries are severe too.  I am not sure if the team can hold it together much longer.

A vehicle no taller than 2m or rather, less than 2m. Wink is what may pass through that tunnel.

All tantalising images there Don.

Greetings all! I went to a Dr. appointment in a city 70 miles east of me yesterday. The wind was blowing out of the NW 30-40 MPH with gusts to 50. Got about 40 MPG there and 15 MPG back! A white knuckle trip.

Don, interesting mushrooms...glossy!
Interesting selective colored leaves and other photos.
I like the fair maiden in front of the castle gate! Hagar the Horrible would have trouble getting in!

Lorell, the photo Club will like that one for sure! I like showing the helmets from both eras!

Will browse around for a decent photo to post tomorrow. I plan on getting down to the palace tomorrow night for a photo of lights for the challenge.

Wow Rich, that sounded like a treacherous drive.
Hopefully there was no snow blowing onto those roads
Have fun at the night shooting. I bet you will come back with some colorful captures.

I believe she was a nun. This was in front of a church.

Neat poster, Lorell.

Don, pleasing harmonious colors in #1, lovely contrasting colors in #2, effective selective colors and great understanding of values in the scene of #3 (one that many wouldn't consider shooting), and in #4 more  superb selective colors in this shot of what I'm interpreting as a devout sister of some religious order.

Bravo!

Lorell, I love the old-time helmets. My earliest memories of watching football on TV in Michigan include Bobby Layne, Joe Schmidt, and Nick Pietrosante. And congratulations to today's injury-ravaged Lions team for the big win over Green Bay.

Rich, a white-knuckle ride indeed!

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Don, nun sounds correct. Don't know which order. However, nursing sister may also be correct.
