December 2024 - Night Lights

[Don]

Looks like there was no challenge in November, so let's see if we can get something going for December. Night Lights - anything goes, color, B&W, reflection, whatever.

Don, wow! That's gorgeously rich in colour.

[Rich]

Excellent photo Don! The reflections add interest!

Here is the Palace all lit up for Christmas in red and green!

[Don]

Corn Palace is looking good, Rich.

Somewhere in Prague...

[Rich]

Yes it is Don. It really shines at night!

Eye-catching yellow on that building. Was it a restaurant or other type of sidewalk business?

[Don]

Rich, yes, it was a restaurant that we visited on a "Prague by Night" walk.

Here is a shot of a boat that we had just left that took us on a tour of Amsterdam canals.

[Rich]

Good one Don! What a great looking tour boat!

[Man From Ironbark]

I don't take many night shots but here's a couple taken by different light at night.
The same subject, different lighting.

[Don]

I like the second spider a lot Peter. Nice and sharp. I often photograph spiders, but not at night.

Well, this doesn't appear to be the most popular subject so I'll let someone else pick for Jan.  My last shot in this category is a street shot taken in Prague.

[Man From Ironbark]

Thanks Dave. It is the moon in the background of the first spider shot. Which is why the spider isn't quite so sharp.

Hope everyone has had a happy and peaceful Christmas.
