Oh I know that climate change has you all wondering how to save the cacti from carking it.
Surely some of you have ways of cooling off in a land with so much of the earths limited supply of fresh water and have at some time or other have photographed it. ![]() ![]() Whether it is birds in a sprinkler or mushrooms shading the ground for the spores they drop. It is all about cooling off. ![]() Which by the way, is about a foot in the old measurement. that is a bit of a whatizit.> > or maybe warming up? https://www.sciencenews.org/article/cave...acier-life And/or will i be able to pay for water or even ever get the water to make a spinkler for the birds to bathe in?

Nice shots of people cooling off. Mine are often more about nature trying to cool off.

I like them;
Especially the last one with the shutter speed catching rain drops.

Those are summer photos when I am using sprinklers.
This is a winter photo when indeed we do get frosts and it may give off a cooler feeling?.

I'd reckon that this is how you'd prefer to see the mosquitoes. All cooled off.

Since the month is coming to an end, I may as well show some SOC abstracts that are made of ice and other things that I find on frosty mornings. Never so intricate as the kind of frosts that Grant photographs but thin ice is where I skate.
Naturally, rough opals under thin ice are a tapestry.This one is both cold and red hot. It was a red plastic bucket. ![]() The opal bucket gave me quite a few interesting abstracts.
