November Challenge - One of the first thing you see in the morning
#1
Peter has chosen our challenge for November - First thing you see in the morning. Could produce some interesting images. I usually see my digital clock first thing. We might broaden the subject just a bit to  "One of the first things you see in the morning" just to give more flexibility. But it should be something you have seen early on. Or whatever. Use your imagination!

Probably should exclude photo's of our spouses but leave our selfies open to interpretation?

One of the first things I see in the morning is my coffee pot. Out of bed, to the kitchen, start the coffee...

Must admit, these days, coffee comes first.
Back in the day, I could easily have been out in the dawning for a couple of hours before I considered a coffee.

Though this photo was only this time last year.

Peter, Gorgeous Sunrize.
Here is the first thing I saw when I opened the curtains. Hoarfrost. grabbed my camera  and slippers before I went out.

Looking good!

This is the view from the kitchen; sun coming up through the trees in the backyard.

Both lovely images.
There are places in Australia that do get cold enough for hoar frost but I tend to stay away from them in winter.
I do like how you managed to get light and colour into the foreground, Patty.

If you do as I did, go to work early grafting trees, then you may definitely see such dawnings.
