Is it just me, or did this week just FLY BY?
Geez, and I have been doing next to nothing.

Since I am still up, and I don't plan on getting up early in the morning, I thought I would start the daily before I went to bed.
In my effort to clean up my computer, I came across some photos here and there that I hope I never shared with you before but felt that they still might be worthy of posting.

So, until the morning, I will "leaf" you with this:

WOW! Stunning photo, Lorell. It's the sort of photo I would have loved to have taken, but there is no doubt I wouldn't have done it so well.

Here's one taken January 2017 at a nearby golf course but processed just yesterday; I was struck by the quality of the air on this morning, the look of the soft yellow sky vs the grayish-lavender clouds, and the wide range of the values. Maybe not a very interesting or frame-worthy image, but it came close to capturing how I felt about this scene, so I am pleased with it...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

WoW Lorell, you just keep posting one amazing photo after another!
The is gorgeous! LoVe the composition, sharpness and lighting!

Dave, wonderful cloud formation and sky color! I can see why you like it as do I.
At first glance I thought my monitor had some spots on it, then looking closer saw they were birds!

Not as good as Grants but we had some hoarfrost this morning.

Lorell,
Yes Wow does it proud. Nothing is out of place. Makes me want to find a spot on my walls !!!
Dave,
Subtle !!! The yellow tones complement the lavender greys nicely
Rich,
Our hoar frost has been building for over a week. It is still hanging on, layer after layer.
Almost unreal.
I think it has changed to ice. Even a slight wind is not dislodging it.

Beautiful leaf, Lorell. Those reds and greens sure do pop and get attention!
Dave, I like how the clouds mimic the trees....the colors are really soothing...well shot!
Brrrrr.....you sure got hit with the snow, Rich. I like how the hoarfrost has made the trees seem frosted!
Grant, your images remind me of the trees I've seen photos of in the cold regions of the world, like in Dr Zivago..really looks cold!!
Here's one from my archives...circa 2010....speaking of snow and leaves......closest I could get to the theme!

Natalie,
Good snow shots. Both...
Dr Zivago was filmed in Northern Alberta our neighbor to the West. Today it is only 6°F.... Not too cold.

Your second one deserves a title, "Waiting for Spring" Good composition!
