Good Morning all.

Here is another image taken recently. This was shot during a walk through "Amserdamse Bos" (Amsterdam's Forest). I didn't expect much from the shot when I captured it, but later, looking at the thumbnail in Lightroom, I suddenly realized that it had potential. I only added the lady from the hotel reception, after exchanging her white coat for a red one  Wink.

Have a good day.

regards - Pete

That's a beautiful image, Pete. And changing the coat to red was the perfect choice.

Nothing new from me, so I'm continuing to go through my archives. Found this one from March 2017 (which I probably posted on WC! way back then and reprocessed yesterday). It's one of my favorite poppy macros...

It might be a bit heavy in color intensity, but if so that's true to how I remember the color in the strong light that day.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Pete / Dave, Great images. I have not been doing much lately. Will rectify that soon. Thick hoarfrost makes for pretty  pictures !!!

Good day gentlemen.
Oh, it is good to see all three of you here on this Friday.
I was swamped with activities yesterday finally finishing up with the photo club party at 9 pm.  I plan on relaxing all day today after I take my dog for a walk.  She is a little under the weather and maybe a walk will cheer her up.

Peter, thanks for starting our daily with such a beautiful fall scene.  I agree with Dave, adding the gal in a RED coat is a plus.  It creates the central point of interest, a story, and something for the beautiful trees to frame.  Well done, Peter.

Dave, That is a magnificent floral.  I see why it is one of your favorites. The composition and color are so great and the focus is spot on.

Good to see you drop in here Grant.  I have been missing you in the dailies. How are the pups doing?

Our club's Christmas party was fun last night.  There were a lot of good photos that people shared. One of the new members shared some images for the first time. Her work was so good.  Every time one of her photos appeared on the screen, positive comments and ooooohs and awwwws were heard from the members. Then when we asked whose photo it was, she humbly mumbled that it was hers.  Having some new, good and young blood in the club is good.  We are thrilled that we have so many new members that have joined recently.  Here is another one that was part of the 20 that  I submitted. It was one of my favorites because I felt that it was DIFFERENT.

Have a great start to your weekend.

Oh my, that is beautiful. But it also looks bitter cold. Have you adjusted to the change of seasons yet?

Cold is beautiful but When the rime is on everything it makes me shiver to the core.

Seasons are entirely different here.

Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit.
