September Challenge - Selective colouring. Part Colour part B&W
#21
One more before I head out this morning on a little ride over to a National Wildlife Refuge near Eufaula, Alabama. Should be a nice morning for a ride.

Here is an image with multiple isolated colors, just for a change.

Very nice work, folks.

Natalie, the truck photo is good, but I especially like the spider image.

Grant & Don - red seems to work well as a selective color. Nice old (from the 40s?) car, and the iconic Marlboro logo. The shot inside the Mexican restaurant is rpetty cool.

Going way back (probably > 20 years) into my archives uncovered this image. (I thought I had lost it - not the first time one could say that I've lost my marbles.)

A 5-minute adjustment...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Grant, your car is fancier than my truck! Nice job on it!
Don, nice Marlboro sign...stands right out! And your Mamacita's shot is fun!
Dave, this is one of my favorites!!  So glad you were able to find the marbles shot!!

Nice additions to this thread.
I guess I have to go find something that is not red to use as the subject.

Dave, You scored BIG on your last one.  Also one of my favorites.

So, how about ORANGE?

Dave,I agree with Lorell. You scored big with your marbles.... I quite like the coloured light coming through the marbles.
Lorell, nice interpretation. Looks like fall orange colours.
Natalie, I see a mushroom soup in your future. Is it edible?
Don, Interesting selection of colours

BTW, I am impressed on the variety of the posts for this challenge. I am glad that folks have embraced the idea.

Another red and orange. This was in a pizza place older than Canada. 5or 6 generation's have run this place in Naples.

Thank you Natalie, Lorell, and Grant. The thing I like best about the marbles photo is that I realized adding color to the "shadows" as light passed through the marbles would be worth trying.

Three nice additions:
- Natalie, that mushroom image is simple and simply lovely.
- Lorell, a very effective example of restraint in placing the color.
- Grant, a for real, authentic pizza restaurant. Well done.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Rich, you have a great sense of humor and clever too.

Grant, I like that shot.  It would make a good image for the top of their menu.
