That you Steve?
I was just thinking of you yesterday when I posted a couple food shots. Thought to myself we should get the Food thread started but Steve is MIA.

Hi, Dave, Grant, Steve!  Nice shots....Dave that rose hip is very interesting....and big! in keeping with the floral theme.....I couldn't go outside yesterday to shoot daffies, so I took a quick snap in the house...too much flash, but they were so promising of spring I had to!! I will try to be more artistic next time....Grant, we are supposed to get snow flurries, heavy rain, winds this weekend....Should see some of your frosty stuff here! You sure can get sharp shots of it!!

Still here, Grant. Just taking a pause for a bit. Food thread would be nice. I just have to practice on posting pics so to look as intended.

Nice photos, folks. And thanks for commenting on mine.

Grant, I'm sure you (and others) know that subtlety is not one of my strengths. One reason for this is the type of photos I take: usually with strong value contrast and vibraant colors. As in the example below taken on the same walk as the one in post #1...

Then I play with Colour Temp.
These lilliputian size files don't show the sharpness nor the depth of the original 36 megapixel image.
