Good day, folks.

I have 2 photos to share this morning. the second is from my inner front yard.

First, another of the early morning sky taken from in front of my house a few days ago...

And a shot taken yesterday, a leaf of a small ornamental tree with some interesting (to me anyway) light and dark passages...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dave, what wonderful colors!  WOW!
I always did like spring new leaves and the spotlight makes it more special!

Grant, the solarized one really pops! Would make a great phone cover, notebook cover, etc! The natural one is impressive as is! Mother Nature is very artistic!

I shot this with my phone. Was happy to see the crocus!  The sun was so bright, though, I blew out the whites.

Also, here is a shot of rust from the truck I posted in the March Challenge. Hmmmm....looks a lot like the WhatIzIt photo I posted. But this is rust, the challenge one is not.

Hello All,

Dave, thanks for starting our daily.  I love the spotlight on the flower or leaves, no sure which it is.  It is quite eye-catching. cover, YES!!!!

Grant, Yes, that colorful frost creation would definitely help me out if my phone cover looked like that.  Good idea, Natalie.
I cannot EVER find my phone.  A few days ago, I made a design on paper then colored it using a bright yellow magic marker.  I cut it out and taped it on top of my phone's case.  My phone case looks like white marble with black veins throughout. It does nothing to help me find my phone.  I am hoping the fluorescent yellow design helps solve the problem.

Natalie, I still cannot figure out your What Iz It challenge.  I got pretty excited when I saw the photo of the rust you just posted.  Natalie,  I cannot believe that you already have spring flowers. It appears that you have some catnip sprouting too. Do your cats like that?

One from last month.

First, thanks for the compliments.
Natalie, My phone has an HDR setting but I really think Raw would be better on a phone. I am not sure but I do think that although phones have their place, they can't be as good as a proper digital camera.
I like your rust and the scratched out linear elements.
Lorell, Now that speaks Florida. The little girls dress colour compliments the ocean. Great tones!

Thanks, Lorell, Grant....
Lorell, I, too like that water and child photo! She is just the right amount of color in the corner....well shot!
I will try to get a shot of the daffodils, Lorell...they popped out Monday when it got to almost 80°

Natalie, you must get warm air streams from the Atlantic, right?

Thanks Grant and Natalie for the nice feedback.

Natalie,
Do you live in Maryland? I have a fond memory of Silver Spring in Bethesda.
