Good morning all.
The finish to, yesterday’s daily was interesting. Good for you Dave for pulling out your paints, pencils, brushes, etc., and making plans to feed your artistic hunger in another fashion. I did that for years when I was working by decorating cakes. I also have some tubes of acrylics that were from high school. They are the ones in the metallic tubes and they are still good inside. I am always surprised at how many photographers are painters too. As Patty said, just have fun.

Patty, you could get a job as a motivational speaker. Really. Your words and comments are always so positive and uplifting. Your photo yesterday made me want to begin a quest to collect photographs of old water towers. They have so much character and all are unique. There are plenty in Detroit still left, but most of the shots would probably be “drive-by’s. And even then, they are in areas not safe to drive around.

My way of satisfying my urge to draw, paint, and use my hands to create is zentangle.  And it is totally for the purpose of relaxation AND IT WORKS.  The other night, I whipped up a White on Black creation and used it for my Macro Monday upload.   Maybe later I will photograph the complete square but I will start the daily with this one that I have on my computer.

Wow! that's impressive art and a professional quality photo, Lorell. Great idea to include the pencil; I think the muted color subtly adds a lot to your photo.

You have far more patience and precision than I can muster on my best days.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Ah, very clever Peter.
But I had to look up the word pentangle to see that was and is a music group.
