Thanks, Don.
I think I can find several photos that will work. Here is my first.

Here is one following the lovely wide angle B&W from Lorell. Not to forget Don's initial B&W offering which I suspect is large format. This one is cell phone.
This one I showed on WC but it shows steps. And in colour. I know I showed this in WC. It is outside of the box - a little. Taken several years ago when we 1st thought of selling and moving from Atlantic Canada. This winter they are getting snow. They have had 5 of 6 weekend storms since Jan 01/2022 2007 D200 Turks and Caicos mansion.

Some of my favorites from you Grant.
I remember that YOUR BROTHER built that staircase. It is a work of art and professionally captured by you. Didn't he have to rip it out once or rip out the previous staircase? Maybe I got that story mixed up with something else that you shared. How in world did he get the wood to curve so perfectly? Then I also remember the school bus in front of your house shot. Another awesome shot that I admired and am so glad that you posted it here in the challenge. Didn't you also use it when you sold your house last year? A lot of neat architecture in the metal staircase that you took with your cellphone, but can't hold a candle to your brother's work.

Here is another set of stairs that I captured at our club's recent trip to the Lighthouses on the West Coast of Michigan.

Some very nice images Grant and Lorell. I wasn't sure what kind of response we would get with this subject but these so far are great.
Here is one taken on the Rocky Mountain Express train a few years back.

These are not stairs as such though my life hangs in balance on every every step. This being the top 30 feet of the staircase into my opal mine.

I know this stretches the challenge.
This is an abstract image and it is outside the box. Joggers Feet and the steps left behind. Shot with a Better Light digital scan back on a 5x4 camera. The scan back uses a trilinear CCD. There is a slight time delay as each of the Red Green and Blue chips record detail one after another. When the subject is static the 3 images are in perfect register [the metal siding], BUT when the subject is moving[joggers in motion] the RGB channels are not in register and record as Motion Artifacts. Timing has to just right - I like how the discombobulated bodies leave abstract bits and almost perfect feet behind. Thus recording their steps.

I can see a lot of steps there. Slight problem working out where they lead to.
Interesting work though. Here's some natural steps or stairs, a rather long way up for a three and a half year old. ![]() This is a fair way up the stairs as well.
