Morning all,

This isn't artistic or even pleasant to look at. Since Rich shot pictures of out of control fire, I thought I would show something different. When we moved 4 thousand Kilometers just over 6 months ago, We flew instead of driving across Covid country, so we needed a car. Unfortunately we did not have the luxury of time to research our choices.

Long story short we chose a 2020 Chevy Trax which proved to be a bad choice. It performed well until it got cold. The PCV valve freezes alowing oil to burn. So these are proof photos For Warranty.

The dealership said this was normal. I don't think so.

No, I don't think that is normal either, Grant.

After those cold photos, here's one to warm us up - yesterday's sunrise behind our now skeletal jacaranda.

At least with all the thick foliage gone, I may have better luck growing veggies in the front yard this spring.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dave, You had me at sunrise! Pretty!

This is the result of a faulty LED night light plugged into this plug.

The basement bathroom lights stopped working. Then unknown to us so did the laundry room lights and the mechanical room lights & plugs. So the battery for the security system went dead and the monitoring company phoned. Woke me up early.

Small town living has some benefits. Electrician was here at day end [Friday]. Found the problem and had everything back working within the hour.

Grant, definitely NOT normal to burn oil. What a flippant answer to the problem! WoW!

You are extremely lucky you didn't have a fire! Makes me worry about mine. I have it in the bathroom on a GFI circuit. Hope that shuts it off with the imbalance of current. I have had it there for several years.

Dave, beautiful sunset. I still feel bad for your tree! I hope it fills in. Looked at some photos of them, they are a beautiful flowering tree.
Focus on what brings you joy! ~Unknown~
