Happy Hump Day.

I'd hoped to get photos of the recent lunar eclipse, but a cloud layer stopped that. Hours later on that morning I took a few photos of the moon, partially obscured by clouds.

Here's one: not great but considering it was shot handheld at max zoom and a slow shutter speed it could and should have been a lot worse.

Last month I posted a new photo to my WhatIsIt? thread, but no responses. So this morning I tried again with a different photo. (Scroll Down)

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Looks good for a Pink Floyd Album cover for obscured by clouds. At least it isn't the dark side of the moon.

Sky was overcast here and I was asleep
and now Thursday is heading towards sunset.

But here's a striped skink. Hard to get the little things to stand still. move closer nad they just disappear.

Good try Dave, for not having a tripod. Back in the film day we would call this a "record shot."

Interesting critter Peter!

Dave, the last photo I saw on the other thread was the Harley.

Mfi, I like your photo of the skink - love the blue & white coloration. And I've had the same challenges photographing SoCal's fence lizards: trying to get closer means moving as slowly as possible (no doubt making anyone watching me think I'm daft) rarely succeeds.

Hi Rich. Yes, I consider my shot of the mood pretty good considering no tripod, so that's an accomplishment. But still, it's mediocre at best.

The other WhatIzIt? photo is above the Harley; may have to scroll up to find it.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
