Another week has begun. Strange that I'm busier now in retirement than I ever was when I routinely worked 10-12 hours a day.

Lots of rain so far this year in SoCal has caused dandelions to appear in huge numbers, and I've fallen behind in eradicating them. But a few days ago I got a little unexpected help: small groups of American Goldfinches eating the seeds before they can germinate. Here's one...

Today's #1 goal is to get a new PC completely sett up. I'll need to transfer documents and settings and reinstall all the apps I use. This should take at least most of the day.

I also discovered a number of old (2001 to early 2004 time frame) drawings and watercolor sketches & studies and will try to find time to see if any are worth sharing here.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dandelions are actually beneficial to soil health and fertility. Great photo of the bird having lunch.
Happiness simply is.

Awesome photo Dave! The blurred back ground and the sharp bird makes for a stunning photo. I was wondering if the mouthful of dandelion was for eating. Well done!
Don't throw any art work away, it will someday be a treasure for family and friends.
