Dave, love it! The shadows give a certain air of mystery to the photo.
You have an interesting selection of books! Love the rocket! Good composition!

Thank you Natalie and Rich.

The books and other items are my son's, not mine. He also has books on many other subjects from samurai to dinosaurs.

He has a lot of respect for Buzz Aldrin, as do I. Buzz, now 92, has remained very active in the future of space exploration. Buzz always was and remains one tough SOB, and even now at 92, I suspect he could and would be more than willing to kick the butts of people 50 or 60 years younger who spout nonsense about our exploration of space.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Apologies if I'm monopolizing this challenge, but I have another to share.

I call this one Dog Tired.

Dave,
What a good shot of your companion! Excellent exposure!

Natalie,
Interesting view of your slice of America! Is that a Kayak factory, sales or rental?
Statue is wonderful, good composition!

Grant,
Both skillfully converted. Looks like a bee on the second one but I can't tell for sure!

Here is an old gas station that went out of business due to the interstate going in 10 miles south.
Shot on 120 film with a Yaschica Mat.

Nice ones, Grant....yes, I see the bee, too, Rich!!
Rich, that building is on the river and you can rent canoes or kayaks and paddle the river. For groups, they take you miles up river and drop you off, and you can paddle back to their business....Love your image, of the gas station....lots of textures!! so many businesses went out of business when the big highways bypassed all the towns....driving down to Florida one time we got on the old roads, and it was scary, like driving through Twilight Zone!!! Wish I had taken a lot of photos, but back then, I didn't even own a working camera....
