I have a question.  If I did not tell you what they were, would you have guessed they were made from the pit of a peach?

Answer to your question, Yes. I have had millions, yes millions of peach seeds go through my fingers while planting peaches in the nursery. I've had to shovel them into hoppers and sweep them up and lots of things to do with peach stones, including soakiing and pre-germinating.
So yeah. I do know what they look like, even when drilled and polished.

I do remember the day that music died. Haven't ever been to the shrine though.

I've been in my garden moving hoses around as the temperature hits 40˚C. Then I come inside and see this.

   

While I was there, managed to snap off a shot pointing at a Neon Cuckoo Bee with my little Olympus. It does good macro if the subject sits still but has a great deal of trouble following a single cuckoo bee about while it is in mating dance with another.
