Good day gentlemen,
Hey, Peter, I like your comment about Dave's image.
That is a bummer, Dave, I am talking about your camera. I remember you had mentioned a while back that you had trouble with the lens focusing. But after you took the lens off and put it back on, the problem was fixed. I sure do how that it is a reasonable fix. Will you be sending in both the camera and lens? Do you have other lenses that work?
I like the work that you did on the cropped-in image. Great color, focus and bright lighting. That would make a good wall hanging.
Speaking of wall hanging. I have been busy working on a poster for my son's cat.
He just got a cat a few weeks ago and it is the sweetest thing ever. My son lives alone and I think this cat will make a nice companion for him. He is low maintenance but extremely loveable, just like my son.
Anyway, I saw a poster online that I wanted to RECREATE.
I dropped in over at my son's house and took a photo of TOBY, his cat.
I worked on this creation for a few hours thinking I would just get it printed and put into a nice metal frame I had purchased at a resale shop. I knew that the CVS stores (these are drug stores in our area with printing machines in them) were having a sale on photo prints and for only one more day, I could get a 16" X 20" print for only $9.99. However, when I went to order the print, I saw that they also had Canvas prints, (same dimensions) for only $19.99. I had to redo and create more negative space around the poster for the "WRAP", but then I submitted it and a few hours later picked up this. I am very pleased with the results and think that he is going to like it. It is one of those presents that I cannot wait to give him.
I was lucky to get the cat looking directly into the camera. I remember NORM saying that was an important part of getting a good pet photo. I wonder what ever happened to NORM. I am sure you remember him and all of his gray card experimentation.
Have a good day, guys,
LORELL
