Dave, one of your best sunrises. Beautiful colors. I agree with Pete about the framing. When I was just starting out, a professional framer told me not to use a white matt ( I always did) because your eye always goes to the brightest area first. You want people to look at your photo/painting first, not the matt. Matching the matt color with a color in the image is best. Your blue matt is dark and matches. An orange or pink matt wouldn't work. I have used black matts on some of my paintings which looked good.
