Glad to hear you are having fun with your new hobby!
Its HOT here too and we went to the botanical garden but spent most of our time there inside the conservatory
with the AC and fans!
It doesn't cool off in GA sometimes till Oct/Nov and we can still have hot days beyond.
I remember 1983, it was 75 degrees on Christmas Day.
We have a LONG summer season and a super short "winter" season.
Summer is NOT my favorite season.
