I cannot remember my first camera but I am sure that I was always interested in taking photographs but NOT BEING PHOTOGRAPHED.
I really enjoyed the photos that you are digging up and sharing them with us. I just love the little boy using looking through the OLYMPUS camera. Smart boy, smart dad. Hee hee. You know my latest camera is an Olympus, right!
Although I love shooting multiple images per second, I do miss cranking the lever to advance the film. That is such a good memory and feeling. The two ladies are so nicely dressed and look so much alike. I also like the Brick Layer's photo. All but two are wearing hats and everyone is dressed differently, some in overalls, some in suits, three with mustaches, the rest clean shaven, one guy with a level, one with a trowel, and a bunch of broken bricks in the foreground. What a great photo.
Dave, Your new shot of the palm is even more moody in this version. But I love the star-shaped flowers on that succulent.
