MFI, when I was doing my research to ID the flower I read that Australia (mostly the western part according to Wikipedia) ) does indeed consider it an invasive weed.
Why is that? Maybe a general practice to limit foreign flora to protect native plants? Or is it destructive or does it spread rapidly at the expense of native plants?
