I have nothing better with which to start a Daily than this unremarkable shot of a succulent taken in the front yard 8 days ago...

I hope all of you are well.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dave, still an interesting photo. The highlights on theupper left petal drags your eye right to it. Sharp focus and shallow DOF makes for a fine image.

Extremely cold here until late Thursday. Had -35F -37C windchill this morning.

Here is the Captain's' cabin on the Battleship USS Alabama.

Thank you Rich.

Nice photo of the Captain's cabin. I would have expected the quarters to be a bit more austere.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

The Captain deserved the best. Smile
Nice close up of the succulent, Dave. You've captured the essence of the plant. The colours are stand out sharp.

I was reading Pete's photos of Narooma trees, it reminded me of forests I've been in. Around Narooma there are a lot of Spotted Gum. They grow quite tall and straight and are used for electrical poles.
Rather than post my photo in his thread, here's some Karri in Western Australia.
