Darlene, interesting birds!

Dave, nice, well composed and exposed!

Lorell, drooling.... wow a beauty! Back when cars were cars!

Nothing from me today. want to get a couple of photos of the murals but has been too cold and snowy. It is 4F 16C with a wind chill of -14F -26C today. Good to "see" everyone!

Sorry for the advert. This is where my pink oysters come from. https://aussiemushroomsupplies.com.au/pr...WikaFEzsRL
I'm sure there are probably suppliers in the US.

Peter, I am very tempted to buy one of these kits.
Do you grow them for esthetic value use or as a source of food?  Do they regrow once you harvest them?  How long do the pretty pink blooms last and one more question, do you grow yours indoors or outside?

Like all mushroom grow kits, there is the chance that things can go wrongly but if things go well, you will be amply rewarded with bountiful crops of edible fungi.
Don't buy them from your Walmart type stores. Buy direct from the producers.
Follow the instructions.

Yes they are generally grown indoors.
Yes I grow then for food.
They will produce more than one crop.
Like all mushrooms, the fruiting bodies are shortlived before they produce spore and die off. It is during this time that we eat them.

These are easily cultivated kits but you can start growing fungi from the spore both indoors and outdoors.
