Beautiful Dave. The purple background really sets them off. Yellow and purple are complementary colors and create high contrast.
A note to Don. I am not getting notifications of a new thread. I do get them for a response to a thread I have commented on though.

The ID, Dave?
I believe it is a
Senna. There are a few of them to look at but in my opinion it is highly likely to be
Senna multiglandulosa.

Rich
I don't get notifications of a new thread either, nor do I get an email for a response to a thread I have commented on. I recommend you look through your options to see if something has changed. For myself, I don't really want to be notified because I usually check regularly to see if anything new had been posted.
If I get some spare time I will try to do some research on getting notifications, but it might be a while.
There is a bookmark I have in my toolbar.

However, I don't need to use it because when I log in, my bookmark is,

and any new posts are marked thus:
In edit options in your user control panel you have message notifications:
At the bottom of the list:
As for threads:

Thank you, Rich. It is a beautiful plant and I think it would be hard to take a bad photo of it.
Thanks for the ID, MFI. Yes it sure looks like a Senna, especially the Senna multiglandulosa. With 300 species of Senna there may be other likely candidates but I'll go with your identification.
Regarding notification of new threads: I've been getting them but I don't remember how and where I enabled that. And there is some indication that I'm no longer getting those notifications.
I'll wait for someone else to start a Daily and see if I get notified.
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
