TGIF friends (and TGIS to MFI).

I out in some work on the front yard this morning, digging up 5 or 6 ugly woody plants. I can't tell how much back discomfort the next couple of days will bring.

After I filled up the big green bin for pickup today I noticed that even 1/3 through October I still have some peppers I need to harvest.

1) Last week Rich shared a nice photo of a tri-colored pepper. This banana pepper goes a step further: yellow, orange, red, and green.

2) My cayennes were productive this year; I should have enough dried cayenne pepper flakes and maybe cayenne powder to last well into next year.

3) This is one of 3 remaining red jalapenos. All three are wrinkled, suggesting that I should have picked them several days ago.

I wish us all a good weekend.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Dave, the tri color one is awesome! All well exposed and presented! I am not a hot pepper fan but love the sweet peppers!
End of the growing season here also. Fall is coming in with cooler temps and chance of frost tomorrow.

I used to get notification of a new thread or post but not today!

I have an update on one of the Palace murals I will post tomorrow. Will spend the morning on Main Street tomorrow with our University's Homecoming parade.

My chillies are not even up as seedlings yet. I've had no trouble gettig tomatoes up but Capsicum and Eggplant are being fussy.
Happiness simply is.
There need be no pursuit.
