Still drizzly here....needed the rain while plants were growing, had drought...NOW it rains, when the farmers need to harvest the poor crops the drought produced!!  Anyways, here is the photo that reminded me of Dave's from yesterday!!

Nice Natalie - both your photo and the appropriate lyrics.

Another oldie (again from Feb 2017 - that was a good month for my photography efforts)...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Love the whorle of leaves in this one. Great greens! Very good composition. Nice framing. Yes, looking back at the photos in my archives, I put a lot of effort in my photography back then and it shows.....need to get myself motivated!!

Bee-utiful Natalie!
Love the verse from I think a Frank Sinatra song!
Sorry about the "Raindrops keep falling on your head!"

Dave, awesome view point! Love the raindrops, they just make the photo!

We had some kind of a problem here. This is part of a wind charger pedestal.
They usually stay on the interstate, don't know why they were in town.

Hello all.
Natalie, that is a perfect tune for your image.

Every year my RED rose bush produces ONE LAST ROSE bud.  I cross my fingers hoping that the warmer temps prevail so that it can bloom before mother nature turns down the thermostat and everything goes into hibernation.  I was looking at the forecast and it appears that the last bud has a good chance of following in the footsteps of your roses.  I will be keeping an eye on it.

Dave, the raindrops are a beautiful addition to this lush green succulent photo.  The red mulch on the bottom is a good contrasting anchor too.

Rich, I would have loved to follow that assembly around town in my car to take photographs of it turning corners and maneuvering around any obstacles it may have encountered.  Wow, I am so impressed by the ability to transports something so huge and awkward in shape.

Well, here is how I counted the pumpkins.  I figured that I would lose count once I got one-third of the way, so decided to put colored dots on each of the pumpkins that I counted.  After each 25, I changed the color of the dot.  I also zoomed in on the original so I could count the ones in the back.  I know I might have missed one or two, but I think my total is close.  Close enough to name Natalie as the winner.

There are 94 pumpkins in this image.
Thanks for playing, LORELL

I'm going to suggest 101 since there are at least three you don't seem to have dotted. Perhaps more because you should have counted all the stems rather than all the pumpkins.
My first estimate was 128 because I counted one length side and one cross section side and calculated the number that way. Sure it was a bit of a guess because one cannot be certain that the same parmeters exist all the way along the lines.

I agree with Peter, I counted the stems that I saw....You missed some, Lorell!! I win! LOL!! too blurry in the back to get a real good count! And the big one in the center of your photos is sitting on one you did not count!

Rich, I don't know what a wind charger pedestal is, but it IS very BIG!! WOW!

The pedestal is for one of the huge fans they plant on windfarms. If you have seen how long the actual fan blades are, it all makes more sense to have a big post to put them on.
