Yesterday I wrote that I put in around 5 miles of walking the previous day. Most of that was to a florist to order an arrangement for my wife to be delivered today - our 50th anniversary. Considering that my wife has put up with me for half a century, $100 - $200 on flowers doesn't come close to an adequate thank you.

While walking back, I detoured to a local park for some photos. It was rather overcast, and no peilcans, egrets, or herons were there, but I did get a shot of a graceful jacaranda...

Wishing you all a good day.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Good morning Dave and congrats on 50 years! We reached that mark a couple of years ago - seems not many folks last that long these days.  Nice image with which to start the day.

We should be on our camping trip right now but we had a little mishap which I am going to relate in a separate thread. Meanwhile, the only photo I took on this trip is this.  Well, I did take some photos of the "damage", shown in the other thread.

Dave & Don,

Nice green natural scenes. Here's my favorite rhododendron opening to a cool wet day.

Happy Belated Anniversary, Dave!! I hope it was a wonderful day. May you enjoy many many more!! That's a lovely tree you have there. Are they native to the area? Found in woods or planted? I can imagine a whole woods full of them!
Don, reflections are always mezmerizing!! Nice greens!
That is a very beautiful rhodie, Steve.....I think I will take a drive to the local nursery to find one...so bright!
