Dave, Thank you for the kind words. You could do worse than emulating Georgia O'Keefe. Her husband was quite a photographer but that was before Colour.

Dave, Thank you for the kind words. You could do worse than emulating Georgia O'Keefe. Her husband was quite a photographer but that was before Colour.
Some really good posts today folks.
Lorell, what a wonderful still life. Very professional! I've never tried light painting, wouldn't know where to start. I've never seen eggs colored like that either, just white or brown. Interesting. Natalie, I haven't seen a shoe stretcher in years. I can remember seeing them as a child but I can't remember who had them. Nice shots Grant. I like the unique colors. I'm not sure if I am seeing the building in the pano or not. I like the crop on the blossom Dave - and the colors are so warm. Very sharp image too. I have spent a lot of today working on music stuff, which I haven't done in quite some time. Took a while to figure out how to set up my recording equipment but finally figured that out. Broke out the electric guitar (easier on my fingers since I no longer have callouses) and tried playing along with a couple of backing tracks. Also I wrote a song about 2 years ago, kind of a pandemic song I call Ghost Town. I think I will try to record it tomorrow.

Morning Don, Good to keep playing. My best friend is sculptor / painter / musician and we get together sometimes and play.
Wish we were not so limited to small sizes. Here is where that building is.
Lorell, I have never seen eggs this color either! Amazing! Just a wonderful set up and the lighting is perfect! You are the master! I am betting your friend will be getting a print of this!!
Dave, Isn't technology wonderful?? The old way is sometimes the best way. You wouldn't want to have the money get lost in cyberspace! WoW, your temps are up there. We are having a cold spring, had a little "skiff" as we call a small amount of snow the other day. But as you say, the birds are chirping and the sun is shining on another blue sky day we get to see! Your O'Keefe tribute image is right on ! Beautiful! Natalie, neat image! All sizes! Hope you get your lawn mower fixed! Grant, Yes, I remember this image, well done pano. The detail of the man and building is amazing! It is really in the way back and you have amazing detail!

WOW, Grant, Your images really capture details! Jealous!!
Dave, love that image. I could see it printed large and hung on a wall! Nice! Hi, Don.....wish I could play an instrument, but I have never been musical, and now with arthritis in my hands, it's a no go for me. Maybe you will post a short video of your song? Hi, Rich!! Lorell, Here are my daughter's chicken eggs, she gets 6 a day.....I would love to find the pale yellow one like you had in your shot, and I think the one almost looks pink, but Laura insists its just a different tan egg.....

Dave, that is GORGEOUS, and with such beautiful colors too. This reminds me of the work you did years ago, the close ups with that accentuated the curves, forms and flows.
Grant, I will give my prize to Dave for his stunner photo. Grant. I am blown away by the resolution. Look at the details of the red house in the background. Oh my gosh. Natalie, I think those colored eggs are so so pretty. I bet your daughter is enjoying her hens. Rich, my friend called me to tell me how pleased she was with the light painted photo. Yes, I plan on sending her daughter a print of the eggs. I think I may wait till I get a deal on a stretch canvas. This is a really close friend. Thanks, Don. Everyday I tell myself that I need to get back to my piano. I have not touched it’s keys in 2022. Maybe today, huh? You motivated me. Thanks.

Thanks Grant, Don, Rich, Natalie, Lorell, and anyone I've missed. Succulents are, as most of you know by now, one of my favorite subjects.
