Cool pre-winter day today. Another mural going up. With the worker in the photo it shows size perspective. Do you know what the picture will be?

The lass that advertised red hat Linux?

These birds have a bit of red on the cap. Immature and both showing different colouring. So evidence of inter-subspecies breeding.
From WIKI: The Australian ringneck (Barnardius zonarius) is a parrot native to Australia. Except for extreme tropical and highland areas, the species has adapted to all conditions. Treatments of genus Barnardius have previously recognised two species, the Port Lincoln parrot (Barnardius zonarius) and the mallee ringneck (Barnardius barnardi),[2] but due to these readily interbreeding at the contact zone they are usually regarded as a single species B. zonarius with subspecific descriptions.[3][4] Currently, four subspecies are recognised, each with a distinct range.

I did ask who pinched my cherries but they kept mum.

Nice one, rich, and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished work of art.

Hi Quint. Your identification of Rosie the Riveter sounds right to me.

MFI, fascinating info on the ringneck. And a great photo too.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!
