Well, the Corn Palace mural decorations are underway. They say all will be done by Thanksgiving. The theme for 2026 is the 250th birthday of our country.
This mursl is waiting for some brown corn to fill the inkwell and the quill of the feather.

It's always a treat to see you fine photos of the Corn Palace art.

I can't help but wonder, in this political climate of divisiveness, partisanship, lies, shameful behavior and language from our elected and appointed officials, and a do-nothing Congress, how folks would complete the phrase "We the People..."

That thought has been crossing my mind but I'm trying not to mention political issues. This though, is up to 'We the People' to do something.

I thought long and hard about whether my post would be considered inappropriate. I finally concluded that because I didn't mention any political party and didn't blame any party, I could be forgiven if I crossed the line to a small degree.

I was simply lamenting how much my country has deteriorated.
