Rich, I agree that this '53 Chevy will be something special when it's done.

I was never much into cars, but I will say that I loved my 2001 Toyota MR2.Very low horsepower but the car was so light t h at it had plenty of oomph. And it cornered like it was on rails. Mine was the classic British Racing Green with a dark tan canvas top.

Our early morning skies her have had very little of the normal oranges and reds, but a lot of vivid blues.

Here's are two versions of the same scene from early  yesterday moring...

Thanks Dave! Your Toyota sounds like a good looking one!

Lots of blue and gloomy for sure. I like the vertical as it shows more of the clouds.

I'm a big fan of clouds. It is the thought of all that Phlogiston Wink

Was also a fan of British Racing Green. Smile Now I'm old I don't care as much about my unfulfilled fantasies.

But I do like your blues Dave.

Thank you Rich. Although I like how the landscape oriented version more clearly shows the overhead lights falling on the dark buildings, I agree with you that the vertical version s better because it shows more of the interesting clouds.

Thank you too, MFI. I've liked British Racing Green for decades.

Phlogiston - that's a theory that I haven't thought about in many years. Thanks for the link, which summarizes the theory and how it eventually came to be debunked.

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Gave it some oxygen, so to speak. Wink

Our friend in Tasmania on his newest property. He's converted the hay shed to live in but the bath is outdoor plein air bathing and yes that is snow up there.
