Good morning all. Hope the weather is not too bad where you are. It is raining here but warm, as it was yesterday. A chance of storms today but nothing like some parts of the country here in the U.S. are getting.

We had new hardwood flooring installed Saturday and I had to take all of our "electronics" out of the entertainment center. Even though I had made diagrams of where it all went, it still was a chore getting it all back in. Also discovered that the stereo receiver no longer works. We never used it but when I was testing everything I discovered that. Pulled the cover and immediately saw that two of the capacitors were leaky. I considered repairing it myself but it looked like it would be quite a chore to remove the circuit board to get to them, but I might still try sometime in the future.

I loaded 7 sheet film holders (4x5) yesterday in preparation for a camping trip next week. I plan to shoot  both the pinhole and the Pressman, as well as other cameras. I'll have more photo stuff than clothes probably.

Hope to see a bit more activity today in here... right now I need to brave the rain and go check the rain gauge so I can get it logged. 

Edit: 3.42 inches of rain from 7 AM yesterday until 7 AM this morning. Most we have gotten in one day in quite a while.

Dave, I liked today's and yesterdays shots. They are so different! In todays image the out of focus background is well considered and compliments beautifully.

Good afternoon guys.  Temp is falling here today - from upper 50's this morning to 50 right now. We'll have temps in the 30's and 40's for the next week or so. Should be about the same next week where we are going to camp.

Another nice capture Dave with the shadows and curves.

"Did you take any photos of the new hardwood floors?"  DW took some photos with her iphone to send to DD. Here is one of them. We had not moved all the furniture back in yet, but it gives a good shot of the floor. We are pretty happy with it.

Don, We like hardwood. It is an issue here because humidity fluctuates so much.

Look, you know we love being here or we wouldn't keep poking our nose in.
You are also aware that you are paying for this.
I am aware that I have seen more artistic photography shoved into a daily here than I ever saw at wetcanvas.
However, this is still what was represented at wetcanvas of the photographic persona.

I too have had concerns about the forum. But then I noted that: 1) Lorell is on vacation; 2) damar has been busy with other activities; 3) MFI's shoulder is probably limiting his photography.

So I'm hoping things will pick back up soon.
