That's a very effective treatment you applied. I see it as something akin to extremely realistic paintings (Andrew Wyeth comes to mind). You gave an engaging photo a subtle artistic look.
I have nothing as creative to share; just another shot from Tuesday of tiny blossoms growing in a small area next to our garage...
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Good morning Dave and Lorell. Glad to see folks are keeping the forum going.
This is from south Texas, taken last Saturday near Laredo. We were attending the Laredo Birding Festival. I think we ended up with 4 life birds for me and 5 for DW as she had not seen the Green Kingfisher before.

Lorell, I love your kitty shot.....great treatment....as Dave said, it does look like a painting...Your " the good stuff" image is delightful...pass me one! This treatment works well. Love it! Also, great shot of the fruit market....they look so good! Bring me some!!
Dave, you are rocking the close up florals! I think I like your signature dark backgrounds best.....like todays and yesterdays pink blossom. Also, your shot of the fly is awesome.....as you say, wish he turned around for you, but he does have a colorful backside!!
Don, WOW! that is really a great shot of the kingfisher. We have kingfishers here, but they are shy and fast, and try as hard as I can, I cannot get a decent shot of one!
The cat looks grumpy.
The red flowers are popping out.
That's a great kingfisher shot Don.
We also have kingfishers. One of which is the world's largest kingfisher. Otherwise known as the Kookaburra or Laughing Jackass.
