Since I again find myself awake at a stupidly early hour, I'll start a Daily.

You probably know that I like images with complementary colors. I took this one in the front yard yesterday and processed it a few hours ago.

The red violet/yellow-green complements seem to be hard to find. Here I really liked how the rich dark red violets (with touches of blue here and there) look with the yellow green...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Very nice, Dave. Love the deep rich colors of both the plant and the background.
Sorry to hear about your sleep problems. I am having the best night ps ever since being in Florida. I think it may have something to do with the fresh air spilling in from the windows as well as the sound of the crashing waves on the shore.

Thanks for starting our Sunday daily, Dave.
Blessings to all.

Sunday, is the day I feel like being creative.  And since I do not have the ingredients to bake a pie or cookies, I whipped up something else. No clean up required after creating this little manipulation.

Dave, your right about the colors. Good composition. Blurry background really makes the sharp foreground pop.

Lorell, what a great find. Definitely could use some help! I like what you did with the manip! This looks like it would be a terrific place with a little clean up. The flag is in sad shape but at least they are displaying it although the star field should be on the left.
Love it!

Another cold snap. Frost again on the window. Keeps changing day by day.
This is my 135 DC f:2 lens. The bits of colour comes from the next door neighbors house.
