Another week has begun; I hope it's a good one for us all.

I have two photos; The first was taken yesterday - another attempt to get a good photo of a flower that is small, delicate, and beautiful. Unfortunately, this photo of it is mediocre. But when I viewed it on the computer, it reminded me of something.

So I searched through photos taken last month until I found photo #2.

I cropped and resized both photos the same, to show the similarity.

First, the flower shot...

And what it reminded me of...

Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Thanks for starting the daily Dave. Good eye and memory on the similarities of the two shots! Smile

I realized this morning that I didn't have a card for DW so I had to make an early run to find one. Honestly not a big fan of the greeting card industry as to me it is kind of a waste of money, but DW likes them, so I went out to find one.

Here are a couple more images of some of the historic churches we tracked down while down in SE Georgia on our camping trip. Neither in use now, obviously. I had the second one on my list of churches to find, but the first one we just happened by on our way to St Mary's for dinner, so I turned around and went back for some shots.

I see where a couple more folks registered yesterday for the forum. I have approved the accounts, so we'll see if they post anything. There are quite a few folks that have registered and never posted. Some I recognize from WC.

Dave, love it! cute comparission!

Don, I agree on the cards. I make most of my greeting cards from my photos. Avery has free software to use.
I really like both the church shots. Looks like they were amazing when in use.

Here is a photo of a plane that was on the ship I was on. I am at the USS Alabama museum.

Hi Rich. Slim pickins' again today here.

Nice weather here today, 65F and sunny. I should take a spin on the motorcycle but not feeling it today.

I spent some time processing film, both 4x5 and 6x45. Nothing spectacular but fun to shoot. Here is one with the 4x5 pinhole camera, an old water pump that was near one of the churches we visited.
