Good morning from a rainy day in Georgia. 76F right now but will be near freezing tomorrow night. Crazy weather.
More photos from the GSM trip. I had a bad setting on the fence shot so I tried to salvage as best as I could. Next two shots are photos that I converted to B&W, one from an old house in Elkmont, and another taken inside a church in Cades Cove. I wish I had taken my Yashica medium format film camera with me and shot the originals in B&W. Maybe next time...
Enjoy the weekend.
Edit: Photos removed.

Greetings Don! Rainy Night in Georgia. A good song from 1977 I believe. Cold here, 9F.
Three wonderful photos capturing shadows and highlights expertly!
The two B&W are very poignant.
Neat shadows from the fence!
As a small nit on the fence photo. I would make the vignetting color dark grey or light black and see if that would make the interest go to the center of the photo first.
In honor of Washington's Birthday on Monday Here are two views of his home in Mt Vernon, Virginia. Front view first and the back view facing the Potomac River, 15 miles south of Washington, DC.
Sorry to be late responding to the nice photos here. I had a busy weekend.
Very good job with the B&Ws, Don.
For some reason photos that have elements that in real life are vertical or horizontal but aren't so in photos really bother me. So I would have skewed image #1 to make true verticals and horizontals.
Rich, two good ones there. I especially like the light in #2.
Don't blame me - I didn't vote for him!

Good point. I'll remove this photo as well. Actually, I'll remove both of them.
